Late in 1990, in Moscow’s Red Square in tumult, in the sick heart of atheistic Communism, as a newly-baked believer after decades as an ardent atheist, I witnessed and chronicled an historic event anticipated by few pundits — the implosion of the mighty Soviet Union and its sudden disintegration. (PROOF p.74) For egregiously unjust treatment of black people in the heart of Capitalism, as ignited by a crass materialism born in Europe and carried to excess in the North American continent, a fiercer fuse flares for this generation. (Shoghi Effendi Citadel of Faith, pages 125-126 America Passing Through Crisis) Notwithstanding many splendid Bahá'í efforts at tamping down ignition of racism’s consuming fire, an essential extinguisher, a language arranged with utmost care and good-will and far-removed from the tongues of slavery’s overlords, has shamefully gone largely untapped by Bahá'í scholars – for half a century. (See pages 74 - 77) This amateur is among few writers in English in any academic circles to buck groupthink on the fundamental Bahá'í principle of a universal auxiliary language vis-a-vis its Esperanto connection. Moreover, I see awareness of the language principle in general along with its many bounties, distinct from the presumably distant institutional question of official selection, as the means at hand right now for individual believers to upraise the standard of the oneness of humanity and I challenge any and all Bahá'í writers, academics and officials to refute the claim; it is their Bahá'í duty to try, otherwise, as stated by the Báb Himself, neither the words of admonishment will cease nor the proofs set forth will become void.
